If the dog is sold as a non-breeding dog a spay/nueter contract will be required.
Puppy Contract - for samples contact me, as they differ depending on if the dog is a companion, performance, or for show potential.
A puppy starter Kit (food and other helpful information)
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Because our Breeding dogs are registered Mini Aussies, our puppies are not eligible to be ILP'd with AKC as Australian Shepherds so are not able to compete in AKC performance venues. Mini Aussies are recognized by all other preformance venues as "Miniature Australian Shepherds" and therefore eligible to compete as Mini Aussies.
We offer an incentive reward system for titles earned on your puppy. You will get a list of acceptable titles starting from CGC award and higher.
We strongly encourage our new owners to attend a puppy obedience class and offer a refund incentive for successful completion of this course.
Written health guarentee to cover:
That the puppy is good health & free of Contagious diseases when you take possession of the dog. Requires a vet visit within 72 hours after you get the puppy. If there is any problems I will need a written statement from the vet.
A 30 month guarentee from inherited defects. If it is determined that the dog does have an inherited defect you will need to provide a written statement from the vet to that effect.
We make no guarantee as to the adult size of the dogs. Our goal it to stay within the breed standard, but variations will happen. We do not breed for specific eye color and do not guarantee for eye color.
Deposits required to hold a puppy for you. Deposits are typically half of the purchase price. Deposits are non-refundable, but maybe transfered to a different litter. Puppies must be paid for in full prior to leaving for their new homes.
SHIPPING INFO & POLICIES
The cost of shipping must be pre-paid before the dog is shipped.
We ship our puppies/dogs by American Airlines or Continental Airlines or Northwest or of course, other arrangements can be made, for delivery or meeting the new owners. I am willing to drive up to a 100 miles to meet new owners for a small mileage cost to offset the cost of fuel.
American & Continental Airlines prices are about $189 for any destination in the USA. For information you can contact American @ 1-800-CARGO AA or Continental @ 1-800-575-3335 Or Northwest @ 1-800-NWCARGO (1-800-692-2746) for VIP Cargo or 1-800-NWCARGO (1-800-692-2746) regular air cargo. Northwest offers both a VIP shipping service for a slightly higher rate and a regualr cargo shipping at a lower rate.
No matter what the circumstance is, Arastya's Lil Aussies will not be responsible for any travel expenses.
Total shipping charges are the responsibility of the buyer and due before the animal is shipped. The total shipping fee must include the cost of the flight, a health certificate $30.00 and a shipping crate approx. cost, $35.00 (Depending on the size of the dog).
Our normal policy is that puppies shipped by air are 10 weeks old before shipping. We have found that they handle the shipping process better if they are a little older. If you are transporting your pups by ground either driving in to pick your puppy up or having a pet delievery service bring your puppy to you, your puppy can leave at 8 weeks.
